When a vehicle crosses the centre line

These accidents happen when vehicles are going in opposite directions and one vehicle crosses the centre line.

In this diagram, Vehicles A and B are travelling on the same highway in opposite directions; Vehicle A crosses the centre line and collides with Vehicle B.

The rules of the road

Drivers must drive within the safe and defined boundaries of the right-hand side of the roadway. Therefore, the driver of Vehicle A would be found 100% responsible.
