Four-way stop where vehicles arrive at the same time
Two vehicles approach a four-way stop intersection. They both stop, proceed into the intersection at the same time and collide.
In the diagram, Vehicle A and Vehicle B enter an intersection with a four-way stop at the same time. The vehicles then collide with each other.
Vehicle "A" = 50%
Vehicle "B" = 50%
The rules of the road
Both drivers are required to yield to other drivers entering the intersection and proceed only when it is safe to do so. Therefore, each driver would be found 50% responsible.
