Hi, I’m David (he/him). As President and CEO of ICBC, I provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure that we deliver affordable insurance, excellent customer experiences and products that offer among the best protection in Canada.

Before joining ICBC, I held a number of roles at BC Hydro, with the latest being Executive Vice-President, Finance, Technology, Supply Chain and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). I also held senior financial roles at Teekay Corporation, including CFO of Teekay Offshore Partners Ltd. I have served on Vancity Credit Union’s board of directors as the audit committee chair and the BCAA’s board of directors. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and am a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the world and experiencing different cultures. I had the opportunity to live in the United Kingdom and Norway, but definitely call British Columbia my home. My passions include raising a puppy and collecting contemporary art.
